A course that covers the integrated approach and interrelationship among the functional areas of business as well as sensitivity to the economic, social, technological, legal, and international environment in which business must operate. The social responsibility and good governance are inter-linked that aim to give protection to the interests of the stakeholders so that they can get benefited from the decision-making processes of existing entities especially corporations. 

It focuses on the development of good governance as a way of measuring how public institutions conduct public affairs and manage public resources in a preferred way. The concept of "good governance" thus emerges as a model to compare ineffective economies or political bodies with viable economies and political bodies. 

At the end of the semester, this course should instill business knowledge and develop qualities of the students that are essential to organizational success. Good governance is at the heart of any successful business. It is essential for a company or organization to achieve its objectives and drive improvement, as well as maintain legal and ethical standing in the eyes of shareholders, regulators, and the wider community.
