Art Appreciation is a course which helps the students appreciate all forms of art through knowing the elements, principles, and the processes involved in people's artistic creation. The elements and the principles shall be defined for the class, so to enable them to apply each of this as the students create their masterpiece. The students shall also learn how to describe, analyze, interpret and judge artistic creations in order for them to appreciate these masterpieces.
Lectures in video clips, you tube presentations and virtual performances are the methods and processes involved in the class. Students are expected to express their appreciations towards the art; so to exercise their own creative expressions. Students who are appreciative of the arts will be able to build their own identity because everybody has his own unique quality expressed in their creative expression.
All those students who will pass this subject shall have self-confidence and established self-identity.
