The course will provide various concepts, principles and elements of environment and technology and the interactive roles they play in the context of environmental management and sustainable development. It will also tackle the implications of technology on the different ecosystems and various sectoral concerns within the environment. Laws addressing, water air and soil pollution; solid, toxic and hazardous waste, occupational safety/health and environmental management systems will be discussed in this course.
