This course gives students a broad overview of the Philippine financial system, the role of financial markets and institutions, the study of micro-economic as well as macro-economic theories as a basis for understanding the key economic variables affecting the business. The course will also cover the discussion of the time value of money, estimating the risk and return of assets, capital assets pricing model, and modern portfolio theory, international trade and international aspects of corporate finance.
