The course includes fundamentals of traffic safety education, enforcement, engineering, techniques in vehicular and pedestrian direction and control, techniques in point and inter-sectional vehicle-volume determination for emergency and priority control; study of different traffic decrees, codes in national and local levels; techniques in the preparation of selective enforcement plans and policies for special and emergency traffic situations; methods and procedures in the use of the hand signals and electric signal lights; techniques in accident investigation; determination of reaction-time and brake-in-time, and application of scientific aids in hit-and-run cases.
