This course is a general study on obligations and contracts. It covers the different types of obligations and how contracts are formulated including the different requisites.

The course provides the theoretical and practical base for a straightforward business research project. It covers the fundamentals of the research proposal, literature review, and qualitative and quantitative methods. The course first emphasizes the research process and the importance of the literature review. It then focuses upon the appropriateness of specific research methods. Students are encouraged to critically evaluate different strategies and methods by identifying both the strengths and weaknesses of qualitative and quantitative methods. Overall, this course equips students with the skills and expertise to develop and implement a research project on their field of specialization.

Campus Journalism is a course that examines the practices, methods and impact of journalism. The main attention will be on reporting and writing: How others have done it, what works and what doesn’t. There will be a number of workshops during the seminar sessions to show the students how to improve story drafts and expose the students to best practices in journalism. In addition, this course promotes the development and growth of campus journalism as a means to strengthen ethical values, encourage creative thinking, and develop moral character and personal discipline among the students. Moreover, it encourages and train students on how to produce and manage a school paper.

The course includes fundamentals of traffic safety education, enforcement, engineering, techniques in vehicular and pedestrian direction and control, techniques in point and inter-sectional vehicle-volume determination for emergency and priority control; study of different traffic decrees, codes in national and local levels; techniques in the preparation of selective enforcement plans and policies for special and emergency traffic situations; methods and procedures in the use of the hand signals and electric signal lights; techniques in accident investigation; determination of reaction-time and brake-in-time, and application of scientific aids in hit-and-run cases.
