This course deals with the study of AC & DC Industrial Motor Controls. It starts with the discussion and familiarization of different symbols used in motor controls. Schematic diagram, construction and reading followed by the actual installation of different Industrial Motor control connections.

The course builds the students’ knowledge on properties of real number system, operations on different types of algebraic expressions, and solution to various types of equations and inequalities. The course also covers the prerequisite to trigonometry and calculus, specifically transcendental and non-transcendental functions, including the characteristics of their graphs and application.

This course deals with the fundamental of electronics communications such as wireless communication such as transmission fundamentals, wireless channel, coding techniques and error control, satellite and cellular networks, cordless systems, mobile IP and management, multiple access techniques, Bluetooth and wireless protocols. It also includes laboratory experiment troubleshooting techniques.

This course deals with the electronics devices the passive and active components as applied to electrical and electronics work network, electronics theorem, rules of passive and active network, RLC components and the different characteristics and applications of electronic circuits and safety. It also covers DC circuit analysis techniques including mesh and nodal analysis, and network theorems such as Norton’s, Thevenin’s and maximum power transfer. It also includes the use of different instrument in electronics. Upon completion students should be able to construct, analyze, verify, and troubleshoot analog and digital circuits using appropriate techniques and test equipment, also includes laboratory experiments.
