This course will provide the students with an understanding of the basic elements and concepts of the Principles of Protection. These concepts are taught taking into consideration the special limitations confronting private protection personnel. Included topics to be discussed are the qualities of a good executive protection specialist, assessment of threats, profiling the executive, setting up of the command post, the benefits of teamwork, and the conduct of a physical security survey.
